Delete account

1. DELETE IT YOURSELF, IN THE APP

1.1. Open Team Team and go to Profile → Settings → Delete account, then confirm. The account is deleted immediately; no request or waiting period is involved.

1.2. If you are the organiser of a game that has not happened yet, cancel or finish that game first — the App will tell you which one is in the way. This exists so that people who signed up for your game are not left standing at the pitch.

2. IF YOU CANNOT OPEN THE APP

2.1. If you have uninstalled the App, lost access to your device, or cannot sign in, write to support@team-team.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject “Delete my Team Team account”.

2.2. We will confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days, and normally within a few working days. We may ask you to confirm control of the email address, so that nobody can delete somebody else’s account.

3. WHAT IS DELETED

3.1. Deleted permanently: your profile (name, email, date of birth, gender, avatar, social links), your sign-in credentials, your location and search settings, your notification history and device tokens, your achievements and ratings, and the reviews other people have left on your profile.

3.2. Games you organised that have not yet taken place are cancelled, and the participants are notified.

4. WHAT REMAINS, AND WHY

4.1. Messages you sent in event chats stay in those conversations, detached from your profile and shown as coming from a deleted user. They are part of other people’s conversations, and removing one side of a conversation would rewrite it for everyone else.

4.2. Games that already took place stay in the history of the people who attended them, likewise without a link to your profile.

4.3. Reports about safety and abuse are retained for as long as needed to keep other users safe. Otherwise, deleting an account would be a way to erase the record of harming someone.

4.4. Records we are required by law to keep are retained for the period the law prescribes, and for nothing else.

5. RESTORING AN ACCOUNT

5.1. Deletion cannot be undone. You can sign up again at any time, but the new account starts empty — the old profile, ratings and history are gone.
