Terms of Use

1. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

1.1. These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and the operator of the Team Team mobile application (the "App", "Team Team", "we", "us"), established in the Republic of Lithuania. Contact: support@team-team.app.

1.2. By creating an account or otherwise using the App you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1.3. Team Team helps people find, create and join local sports games and meet other players. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

2. ELIGIBILITY (18+)

2.1. You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. We ask for your date of birth during registration and refuse accounts of anyone under 18.

2.2. By registering you represent that you are 18 or older, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you are not prohibited from using the App by applicable law or by a previous ban issued by us.

2.3. Misrepresenting your age is a material breach of these Terms and leads to immediate account termination.

2.4. Territory. The App is not offered, distributed or supported in the Russian Federation or the Republic of Belarus. We do not provide the Service in those territories, and use of the App there — including through circumvention tools — is a breach of these Terms; we may suspend or terminate accounts associated with such use.

3. ACCOUNT AND SECURITY

3.1. You may register with your e-mail address or through Google or Apple sign-in.

3.2. You agree to: (a) provide accurate information and keep it up to date; (b) keep your credentials confidential; (c) not share, sell or transfer your account; (d) maintain only one account.

3.3. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@team-team.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

3.4. We may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to protect the App, its users or third parties.

4. LICENCE AND RESTRICTIONS

4.1. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely as permitted by these Terms.

4.2. The App, its software, design, logos, text, graphics and databases belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

4.3. Except to the extent such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law (including the interoperability provisions of Directive 2009/24/EC), you must not: copy, modify, translate or create derivative works of the App; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it; rent, sell, sublicense or redistribute it; scrape, harvest or extract data by automated means; probe or circumvent its security; or use the App to build a competing product.

5. USER CONTENT

5.1. "User Content" means anything you submit through the App: events you create, chat messages, your profile name and avatar, reviews and ratings, social profile links, and support requests including attachments.

5.2. You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for technical purposes), display and distribute it solely to operate, provide, secure and improve the App.

5.3. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all rights to submit it and that it complies with these Terms and the law.

5.4. ZERO TOLERANCE. Team Team has zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. The content and behaviour described in Section 6 are prohibited without exception, and we act on them as described in Section 7, up to and including immediate and permanent removal from the App.

6. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You must not, and must not encourage or help anyone else to:

  • (a) harass, bully, stalk, intimidate, insult or humiliate any person;
  • (b) post hate speech or discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any similar characteristic;
  • (c) threaten, promote or incite violence, or glorify violent acts;
  • (d) post sexual content, nudity or pornography, or solicit sexual services;
  • (e) create, post, request or share child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualises minors — this is an absolute ban: we remove such content immediately, permanently ban the account and report it to law enforcement;
  • (f) use the App for any illegal activity or to organise one;
  • (g) advertise, sell or facilitate the sale of drugs, weapons or other illegal or regulated goods or services;
  • (h) send spam or chain messages, or engage in scams, fraud, phishing or any other deception;
  • (i) impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
  • (j) publish another person's private information without their consent (doxxing), including addresses, phone numbers, documents or precise location;
  • (k) infringe copyright, trademarks or other intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights;
  • (l) upload malware or malicious code; interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers; reverse engineer the App; or access it with bots, scrapers or other automated means;
  • (m) post unsolicited advertising, promotions or other commercial content, or use the App primarily to recruit customers for a business without our written consent;
  • (n) represent, support or promote terrorist, extremist or organised criminal organisations;
  • (o) promote, encourage or provide instructions for suicide, self-harm or eating disorders;
  • (p) publish false, misleading or fraudulent event information (wrong venue, time, cost or nature of an event);
  • (q) abuse the events system: create fake events, systematically fail to show up, manipulate participant lists, or manipulate reviews and ratings (including fake or retaliatory reviews);
  • (r) create fake accounts or multiple accounts, or create a new account to evade a suspension or ban;
  • (s) misrepresent your age or identity;
  • (t) attempt, or assist anyone in attempting, any of the above.

7. MODERATION, REPORTING AND BLOCKING

7.1. We may, at any time and without prior notice, remove or refuse to display any User Content, restrict features, and suspend or permanently ban users who violate these Terms.

7.2. The App provides built-in safety tools on content and profiles: "Report" — to flag objectionable content or an abusive user to us, and "Hide" — to block a user so that you no longer see their content or receive messages from them.

7.3. We review reports of objectionable content and act on them within 24 hours, including by removing the content and ejecting the user who provided the offending content where warranted.

7.4. We may preserve and disclose content where required by law or where necessary to protect the safety of users (see the Privacy Policy).

7.5. If you believe your content or account was actioned in error, contact support@team-team.app and we will review the decision.

8. REAL-WORLD EVENTS; ASSUMPTION OF RISK

8.1. Team Team is a tool that lets users find each other and organise sports meetups. Events are created and run by users. We are not a party to any event; we do not organise, supervise or insure events, and we do not vet, screen or run background checks on participants, organisers or venues.

8.2. You alone decide whom to meet and where. Use common sense: meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and assess your own health and fitness before playing — sport carries an inherent risk of injury.

8.3. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of users or venues, or for anything that happens at or in connection with offline meetings, including personal injury, property damage or theft.

8.4. CONSUMER CARVE-OUT. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits: (a) your statutory rights as a consumer; or (b) our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of the Republic of Lithuania or of your country of habitual residence.

9. FEES BETWEEN USERS

9.1. The App does not process payments. Any price or fee shown in an event (for example, splitting a court rental) is informational only and is agreed and settled directly between users outside the App.

9.2. We are not a party to such arrangements, do not guarantee them and do not resolve disputes about them; you may, however, report abusive behaviour under Section 7.

10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase Authentication, Google Maps and Places, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Cloud Storage, Render, Sentry and Resend. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

11. TERMINATION

11.1. You may stop using the App at any time and permanently delete your account in the profile settings ("Delete account").

11.2. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the App. Where proportionate, we will give reasonable prior notice, except in cases of serious breach or legal necessity.

11.3. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5.2 for content already shared, 8, 12, 13, 14 and 16) survive it.

12. DISCLAIMERS

12.1. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that events, users or venues will meet your expectations.

12.2. If you are a consumer in the EU, this Section does not affect your statutory rights, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and digital services.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

13.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or loss of data, and our total liability arising out of or in connection with the App is limited to EUR 100.

13.2. The exclusions in Sections 12 and 13 do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including liability for intent or gross negligence and for death or personal injury caused by negligence — and do not affect mandatory consumer-protection rights (see Section 8.4).

14. INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you will indemnify us against third-party claims, damages and reasonable expenses arising from your User Content, your misuse of the App or your breach of these Terms. This does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own fault and does not limit any mandatory consumer-protection law.

15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may amend these Terms for valid reasons (changes in law, new features, security). We will announce material changes in the App or by e-mail at least 15 days before they take effect. If you do not agree with the changes, stop using the App and delete your account; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

16. GOVERNING LAW; DISPUTES

16.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and applicable European Union law.

16.2. If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you additionally enjoy the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of that country. Nothing in this Section deprives you of those rights.

16.3. Consumers in Lithuania may also apply to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VVTAT, www.vvtat.lt) for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes.

17. MISCELLANEOUS

17.1. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force, and the invalid provision is deemed replaced by a valid one closest to its intent.

17.2. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them as part of a business transfer, with notice to you.

17.3. These Terms together with the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
